1980s Art Deco Revival Chrome and Glass Table Lamp with Brown and White Inclusions
This compact lamp fits on a book shelf nicely. It casts an intimate glow. It has an unusual black painted steel stand and a chrome neck and shade holder. We’re guessing it dates to the 1980s.
A push button switch sits under the chrome rim, indicated in images with a pencil. The glass is frosted and has attractive brown and white inclusions that show up beautifully when lit.
We’ve added rubber trim to finish the foot, which stops the steel edge scratching surfaces and has the added benefit of creating a softly curved edge - the light looks great finished with this trim and it adds a soft touch to the shape.
The flex has been rewired with a black cloth cord, tested and tagged safe for use, to meet Australian electrical stardards.
A very nice and unusual light for small spaces.
