Daum Crystal Lamp with Original Chocolate and Blue Shade, France, 1950s
Daum Crystal Lamp with Original Chocolate and Blue Shade, France, 1950s
A Daum crystal lamp on a contrasting navy blue crystal base with original sculptural shade. The shade has been made to pick up the nautical theme, and sports a chocolate brown and cobalt blue waxed ribbon trim on an off-white plastic shade.
Overall condition is very good, notwithstanding some signs of aging in the materials. Still looking handsome after all these years - true style never fades!
The shade can be situated in two ways. Photos show it flipped over and more upright, or the relaxed version shown in the majority of images.
Takes one B22 Standard Bayonet Cap bulb. Use of LED bulbs is recommended (to prevent overheating and reduce power usage).
MEASURES:
57.5cm H x 32cm W x 17cm D
CONDITION:
Glass - very good condition, a couple of minor scratches. See images. A Glass shard has been polished, probably to repair the very top of the crystal stem, but very well done. See images. Plastic shade discoloured with age. One small crinkle. Ribbon trim unfolding in places. See images.
