Pair Motoko Ishii Spage Age Chrome Wall Sconces, 1970s

Pair Motoko Ishii Spage Age Chrome Wall Sconces, 1970s
PRICED AS A PAIR
These lights blend Japanese minimalism with futurism. Ishii’s designs were produced in the 1960s in a range of geometric and spherical forms. The series had space-related names, reflecting the fascination with space exploration at the time.
They were produced by Staff Leuchten, Germany. They sold widely across Europe and the world.
Ishii’s work remains desirable for its distinctive blend of elegance and clarity.
This pair is by Lightcraft, California. No further information on lisencing could be found, but the internal parts are labelled 'Japan'. As these are not Staff Leuchten originals, they are lower in price, but of excellent quality.
CONDITION:
Very good to excellent condition internally and externally. Minimal signs of wear. Tested and tagged, wired to Australian Standard.
Compatible with hard-wired installation only, there is no switch on these lights. Bulbs are not included.
