Modernist Marble Cubic Side Table, Australian, 1960s
This table sits firmly in the International Style so beautifully realised by Florence Knoll through the sixties and seventies. The construction is simple, emphasizing it’s charming proportions. The legs give the table's cubic form a graceful definition.
The frame is a simple construction of steel angle and box profile tubing which has been freshly stripped and powder coated Satin Black.
We've replaced the original damaged laminate top with an old piece of marble to add heft to the materials.

CONDITION:
Excellent. The marble is honed but with some very subtle changes of texture that appear at some angles of raking light. Clean and sound. Frame stripped and powder coated in Satin Black. New plastic feet.
