Antonia Campi Biomorphic Ceramic Vase Model C44 S.C.I. Lavenia Italy 1950
A fine example of original 1950s ceramics by Antonia Campi. A truly rare item to find in Australia.
This tiny (9cm) bud vase is clearly marked 'Lavenia C44' to the base. Campi's biomorphic series won a Gold Medal at the XI Milan Triennale in 1953.

CONDITION
This piece is in very good condition. It has a small 2mm glaze chip on the base, not visible when standing on a surface. See final images. On very close examination there is a couple of tiny scuffs, a shallow one millimeter scratch and one tiny pinpoint open glaze bubble of less than half a millimeter. Some craqueleur of the black glaze on close inspection. See images.
