An elegant 1960s carafe - visually delicious and in perfect condition. You could serve wine or water from it, it pours well enough, but it was not designed for use. It was made to grace the table with its lovely form and it's a real pleasure to look at.
It ticks many stylistic boxes - art deco revival, space age, modernism, organic modern, playful maximalism.
Made in the small town of Empoli, near Florence. It brings vintage style in spades. Use as a vase or candle holder. Group with other Empoli glass vessels for decorative shape and colour.

22cm H x 22cm diameter
Holds 1.75ltrs fluid but must be supported - handle not designed to carry much weight
CONDITION:
Excellent. Unmarked, unblemished but for the minor production flaws inherent in Empoli glass.
