DETAILS:
The General Electric Company produced these lights in the 1930s. They're some of the earliest electric light fittings designed to provide directional light in shop windows. We've fully replaced the metal parts with traditional arm and canopy, including a threaded knuckle joint to offer multi-directional lighting.
Can be wall or ceiling mounted. Versatile and charming, they offer a lovely even glowing directional light or wash, depending on how you set them up.
One remaining - Silver, with remnant GECoRAY sticker.
CONDITION:
Excellent vintage condition. Brand new metal arms, joints, wall/ceiling cap and gallery, new wired to Australian Standards. Original 1930s glass shade, foxed and patinated, paint scratched on outside of shades, labels in varying degrees of legibility. Overall shades in charming, elegant vintage condition with new metal parts.
