A pair of Classic Wassily chairs, with a truly lovely twist - black anodised frames. Deliciously worn leather. Closed tube ends show these were a quality production. Purchased pre 1985. Sticker to underside of seat, 'Made in Italy'.
The rubbing and marking of the anodised frames gives them a softly worn character that can't be imitated or reproduced. Only time and use can bring this warmth and patina.
They have been carefully cleaned in every detail. The frames have been polished. The leather has been rejuvenated, restored and cleaned. They have all the charm of age and wear, with the benefit of expert cleaning and restoration.

CONDITION
Fair. Black anodised finish extensively rubbed and marked, but to beautiful effect. Leather stretched a little on one chair to the top back, seat and the arms, stretch shows in seat but still strong and supple. These chairs are not licenced productions.Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
